Presenter: Prof. Saville Kushner, University of Auckland, New ZealandFlyer attached.Saville will introduce the workshop by giving a view of changing political and economic contexts for program and policy evaluation. He will present the case that in a world of collapsing public sectors the need is intensifying for reviewing the place of evaluation in a democracy, and the place of democracy in evaluation.Methodologically he will rehearse the argument for evaluation case study. He will then invite participants to frame, in small groups, a response to a Request for Proposal and we will critically review the diverse results. This will set an agenda for further discussions and workshop activities.
