Adding members to a Discussion Group

To add a member, open up "subscribers" in the RH column in your Group Manager menu. This will take you to a oage wehre you see all current members, and have the option of adding a member.

Under "List of users" enter the username of the members you want to sign into the group. The trick here is adding exactly the right username for a person. To get this name right, I usually open a second webpage in my brosser, and use the site's member search function to get the right username.

And I've found it wise to add each as a member in turn, not several at the same time. When the software rejects my request to make several people members, I don't know which user name out of five (for example) I've got wrong.

This is a tedious process, but it does mean the people you want are now in your group.
