The Congress will be held at Bayview Eden, built around a beautiful late-1800s mansion, looking over Albert Park and all the way to Port Phillip Bay. The venue has many warm and welcoming ‘spaces’ for the main events, break-out rooms and places to sit and ‘be’ and converse. Catering and restaurants are on site, as well as a hotel for those who wish to stay at the venue. Situated at 6 Queens Road Melbourne, it is less than 10 minutes tram from the city centre, adjacent by various large areas of parkland and it is perfect for the World Congress.

Bayview Eden Melbourne is located at the city end of Queens Road, close to all Melbourne has to offer but in a more peaceful setting with beautiful views of Albert Park Lake,Golf Course and Port Philip Bay. With the added convenience of onsite parking and the most well renowned areas of Melbourne just a stone’s throw away, the central location is ideal for the ALARA 2010 World Congress.

Onsite Hotel

Bayview Eden Melbourne includes a 4 ½ star hotel, with accommodation rooms and 12 suites all of which provide
convenience and comfort. Incorporated into the hotel is the historic a local landmark constructed in 1891. The rooms all contain a large work desk and internet access.

Car Parking

Car parking is $10.00 per car per day. For any guest staying in the hotel, entering after 3.00pm or on the weekend parking is complimentary. The car park is located directly behind the hotel and can be accessed via Queens Lane. Car parking is subject to availability.

Public Transport

Bayview Eden Melbourne is located less than a 3 minute walk to tram stop number 22, located
on St Kilda Road which runs directly to and from the city. Tram numbers 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 and
72 will take you to and from Flinders Street Station.At Flinders Street you can connect with
further trams and trains.
